>Release: <NetBSD-current source date> 06/06/97
>Environment:
System: NetBSD zero.warped.com 1.2E NetBSD 1.2E (ZERO) #58: Fri Jun 6 19:42:48 PDT 1997 billc@zero.warped.com:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/ZERO i386
>Description:
The disk is a fully formatted MSDOS with MBR, with 2 DOS partitions.. one shows up as the primary, which NetBSD in-core disklabel shows as MSDOS, the 2nd partition is an extended one (D:) and shows up as 'unknown':
e: 4192902 63 MSDOS # (Cyl. 0*- 1866)
f: 4192965 4192965 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 1866*- 3732*)
NOTE: to get past DOS's 2G limit, this 4G drive was split in half.
>How-To-Repeat:
mount_msdos -o ro /dev/sd0e /mnt, then try with sd0f
>Fix:
make the in-core label notice extended partitions and 'work' :)
