	For a large file, mail says
	>N  1         Sun Mar  2 22:21 -32732/2000397
	(and wc -l says 32,805)
	Get Curt to send you an ungzipped kernel (because the gzipped
	one was corrupt) and run mail.
	s/short/long/, I assume.
