cron calls /usr/sbin/sendmail directly, which causes problems for people
tracking current (can't easily replace /usr/sbin/sendmail because next
build will override it again) and not USING sendmail (I just installed
Qmail)

Perhaps the default mailer should be /usr/bin/mail, which will call the
correct mailer once /etc/mail.conf is set up correctly.
