System: NetBSD peti.rhein.de 1.1 amiga
>Description:
When installing the NetBSD 1.1 kernels, ip.forwarding is set
to off per default, what is very unfortunate in my opinion.
Many, many people, who follow NetBSD, are somehow connected to
the Internet and only a small number of them have a single
machine.
When I upgraded to 1.1, I based my config file on the generic
configuration and it took my _hours_ to find out why all sites
behind me cannot reach the net anymore.
The next release should definitely have ip.forwarding set to 1
per default or you should at least point out this fact in the
READMEs.
