Furthermore, there are patches available that convert rdist to invoke "ssh"
rather than "rsh".  In addition to making the obvious substitution of "ssh" for
"rsh", they make some changes to rdist's handling of stdin/stdout streams that
otherwise cause ssh to hang when invoked by rdist.  If anyone wants them, I can
probably dig them out...
