System: NetBSD sinus.cs.uni-bonn.de 1.1 NetBSD 1.1 (INSTOTHER) #0: Fri Nov 24 06:14:06 PST 1995 root@boojum.piermont.com:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/INSTOTHER i386

>Description:

When booting NetBSD on a machine with a WD8216 card, and the card
was initialized before (e.g., on a reboot, or after some network
stack was installed when running MS-DOS), the card won't be
recognized.

>How-To-Repeat:

reboot. watch the config messages. look for the network card.

>Fix:

No fix. You get the card back by using the RESET button, but this isn't an
option for, e.g., routers in a non-accessible (on weekends) room.
