	it's possible to access remote divices through the
user@host:/path-syntax with tar & dump. It would be nice to have this
possibility with mt, too. :)

	mt -f root@othermachine:/dev/nrst0 rewind

	eeeeeeh, sorry, no time for coding here. But i think it's dead
easy, just ripping the code from tar or dump and place it there.
