NetBSD mona 1.1_ALPHA NetBSD 1.1_ALPHA (MONA) #3: Mon Nov 13 13:37:15 EST 1995

>Description:
when installing 1.1, I wanted to use the ccd driver. I didn't
expect the install floppies to have it, but I was surprised to
find that even the full GENERIC* kernels didn't have it.
Fortunately I was just adding ccd devices to a system, but I
can see problems in the future where people have files
critical to the upgrade process on ccd partitions and not
	being able to access them.

>How-To-Repeat:
boot a GENERIC* kernel on anything but atari & hp300, and
notice the lack of ccd support

>Fix:
add the following line to /sys/arch/*/conf/GENERIC* if not present:
		pseudo-device	ccd	4
