Subject: Label WD 1.6 Gig as second disk

I labeled my new disk as follows. It would fsck and mount and service
me until I rebooted. After reboot I can do nothing without it complaining
that it cannot read the last super block tha newfs created. After
relabeling the disk all the stuff that it contained is still there.
The cycle repeats after rebooting each time.

LABEL PROCESS:

disklabel -B -b/usr/mdec/bootwd -s/usr/mdec/wdboot wd1 wd1600

(note: /etc/disktab contains definition of wd1600 including rm=5200)
newfs /dev/rwd1a wd1600
fsck /dev/rwd1a

Whould welcome suggestion on how to make the label presistant.

Thanks,
Bill
