machine is used exclusively as a simple ppp router, ie pppd 
on tt00. It's stripped down to a bare minimum, no users, no cron, only routing.
The only non-NetBSD tree pgm running is gated (version R3_5Alpha_10) which is 
used instead of routed. 

Every couple of days the machine panics with 
page fault in supervisor mode
