System: NetBSD spinne 1.0 NetBSD 1.0 (SPINNE) #27: Mon Nov 14 14:48:08 EST 1994 david@spinne:/home/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/SPINNE i386

(built completely from sources SUP'ed just before 1.0 SUP'ing ended....)

gdb caused a panic trap type 4

there is an error from gdb that says something like:

warning: encountered unknown breakpoint in shared library

(exact wording lost, and I'm not going to try this again!

	write a really simple hello.c
	compile (cc -g -o hello hello.c)
	run gdb (gdb hello)
set a breakpoint on the first statement (break hello.c:3)
run the program under debug and stand back! (run)
