Uh, I don't mean to sound rude, but McCanne told me the up-to-date code
is in BSDI, and frankly I think he's probably more familiar with it than
you are.

I have no objection to you porting the other code back in.  I'm very
hesitant to do it, partly because I DON'T HAVE TIME RIGHT NOW, and
partly because I'm 100% positive that I'll get stuck porting the code
from BSDI back in when it's made available.

Given the state of the multicast code I'd be surprised if it were being
used for anything serious enough that I should even care.
