Sounds reasonable.

Having them set in gettytab is a useful thing to do, anyway, since different
terminal-type devices might well have different reasonable defaults.

(like, you don't use backspace for erase on some of DEC's more fascist
keyboard layouts because they may not HAVE a backspace character anywhere
you can use. This might not be a big deal on a PC console, but an Alpha
port of NetBSD might well have a terminal for the console.)
