While running XFree86 2.0, doing a sup in one window, untarring some files
off /dev/rst0, and running some telnet sessions, I tried to run "xv," a
picture viewer, from the command line of one of my xterms.

As soon as xv started to load, my system dropped me back to the console
without any explaination. The tape drive started to rewind. Other than that,
everything seemed OK. I was able to do an "ls" in the current directory.
However, as soon as I tried to run my X server again, I got this message:

sd0: oops not queued

I got this once upon trying to run the X server, and after a few seconds it
repeated about 20 times, then stopped. Trying to run su or reboot gave me
the same message, again repeated about 20 times.

Finally, when the tape drive stopped rewinding, I was able to run the X
server again, and everything appears to be normal now. There are no messages
in the message log.

This is with yesterday's sources except for the kernel, which is dated March
10, I believe, because yesterday's kernel couldn't find the disklabel on
my wd0 drive.

Oh, and this particular kernel runs everything off of sd0 (wd0 is mounted
so I can get to my DOS partitions).

Hmm, this reminds me, last week I tried backing up my system to /dev/rst0
with tar. Unfortunately, near the end of the backup the system would
spontaneously reboot. This happened twice in a row, so it seems to be
reproducible. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to dig any further.

I have a BT-445S, one with the older firmware that worked fine before the
round-robin mailbox feature was added. Both of these problems have occurred
after the new bt742a.c driver was integrated (also some changes to some
scsi*.[ch] files).
