Hello,

I just upgraded from NetBSD-0.8 to NetBSD-0.9. I'm running a Dell 4/66T with
a 500M IDE drive, 16M ram and 1M integral S3805 vga chip. I have DOS and
NetBSD partition.

I got 0.9 from the BSDisc CDROM, and the upgrade went smoothly; I didn't have
to do any low-level stuff, it worked happily with my existing partitions and
disk setup.

Now, my problem:

It seems that when I boot, I get the message "wdc0 extra interrupt", and
sometimes during heavy disk activity, my disk will lock up. The drive
activity light stays lit, but I can't hear anything happening, and everything
comes grinding to a halt. I never had this problem with 0.8. Any suggestions?

Also, I noticed when I was recompiling the OS, that isa.h has a lot of
unterminated comments in it...

And finally, just as a request, how about a flag on the config line for the
LP driver? It would mean "don't probe, just assume that it's there." (and
would probably be correct for 99% of PCs..)

Thanks for NetBSD!
