Subject: NetBSD-current hangs too!

I'm very sorry to report that NetBSD-current exhibits the same
"filesystem" hangs I reported last week for NetBSD-0.9
I downloaded and installed NetBSD-cuurent from agate (mod times for
the tar files were Nov 6).

I've been running the new kernel for nearly three days, but I've been
rebooting regualarly to install new kernels. This morning, the first
command I typed showed that the system had hung.

Indeed I believe it had hung long before I got up, as a cron job that
should have run at 08:30 appears not to have.

BTW if anyone is interested, I added a new option to my kernel config
LP_SIMPLE_PROBE. Like many others, I've found that Rod's probe
routine does not find my printer. If LP_SIMPLE_PROBE is defined, lpa
and lpt use the original trivial probe routines that _never_ fail to
find a printer. In fact they probably would find printers that are
not there. But for me and it seems many others, this is the easiest
way to get printers working.
