The following story just hit CNN's website:

Apparently, Steve Balmer of Microsoft is busy spewing FUD about the 
pacific rim about how governements there which choose to use linux, 
could be exposing themselves to potential patent infringement 
lawsuits. 

Perhaps someone should let these leaders know that there is another option.
