The only thing I worry about, albeit not to any great degree, is that in
some parts of the world law enforcement isn't met with the same feeling as
warm-fuzziness as in others. Your idea matches with my initial thoughts, but
then again as a white male living the U.S. I've only been hassled by the
police for no good reason twice in my life.

Although it's another u.s.-centric reference how about a daemon with a tan
leather vest and a sheriff's star. Or, a police badge with the words,

"to SERVE and PROTECT"

around the outside and a daemon face in the middle? [there may be a
trademark issue here with other "security" products]

I think dragnet's been syndicated worldwide, so that might work. On that
note, since Baywatch is the worlds most sucessful syndicated tv show, we
could have a lifeguard daemon instead. ;-)

the blowfish is a cool mascot, but he's not ours. Some versions of teh
blowfish graphic though look like he's either laughing at some private
joke, while others make him look constipated. Just a casual observation.
