Sadly, that is correct (certainly in terms of free UNIXes, I don't know
about commercial stuff like VxWorks). However, many of these ports are
in the form of patches strewn around the 'net, rather than having been
nicely integrated into their source tree, and not all of them work on
the current version :-)
