I think .Sony is in the ROM which is available if you want to try and
hook into it. I, personally, don't care to mess with it. The reason
the floppy is ejected is that the boot is done by loading a shutdown
procedure and shutting the system down. The shutdown procedure copies
the kernel to address 0 and jumps to the kernel's entry point. The
floppy eject is part of the system shutdown mangler. Err.. manager.
