Does anyone know if it is possible to get a Teac MT-2ST/F50 tape drive to
work with NetBSD? I tried it before and it didn't work.
When I tried to use mt, it said:
unknown tape drive type (7)

When I tried to use tar it said:
tar: can't write to /dev/rst0 : Operation not supported by device

Here is what the kernel said about the drive at bootup:
 targ 2 lun 0: <TEAC MT-2ST/F50 RV B> SCSI1 sequential removable
st0 at scsibus0: density code 0xa8, 512-byte blocks, write-enabled

Does anyone know if it is possible to get this drive to work with netbsd?
