I have some questions about SL/IP. I have read both the FAQ's and the SL/IP
HOWTO. I noticed that one FAQ specified /dev/ser0 but the SL/IP HOWTO uses
/dev/tty00. Please confirm which devices correspond to which physical mac ports
on a Mac IIci (modem, printer, adb1, and adb2).

I can connect to my modem and even dial out successfully but neither the full
command nor the response is echoed back from my modem. I get "at" echoed but
nothing more. In response, my modem gives me a capital E. For example, I type
atdt7527900, I see atE. I have tried ate0 and ate1 without any success.

I have not modified /etc/ttys or /etc/inittab, are changes required? I have a
dove fax modem which includes an integrated din8 cable. Do I have to reconnect
different pins between the modem and the mac?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Tim B.
