Hi!
some days ago I tried to simply read from the raw SCSI device with dd
(dd if=/dev/rsd0c of=/dev/null) and got only about 95k/s (from a
FUJITSU 1GB drive - I get about 900k under MacOS). From my 40MB IBM I
get 58k - which seems to be ok in relation. But the absolute values
make me worry if there's something desperately wrong in my system -
what can it be? I'm running MacBSD 1.0 on a IIx (1.0 Kernel).
Bernd.
