After building world from tar balls I ftp'ed the other day, Allen's X
started working perfect. It works great, even on the small screen ;-)

But I find something strange after compiling a couple of Japanese
software (kterm, Japanese capable version of xterm, and Mule, multi-
lingual enhancement to GNU Emacs). Neither of them can display
Kanji (Chinese characters that Chinese, Korean and Japanese use)
correctly.

If you do "xfd -fn k14", then you'll find the first valid character at
code 0x4221, which should be 0x2121 (double-width white space). I
think this is the problem, not the Japanese programs, but I don't know
why it is so and how to fix.

Any idea? I appreciate any help.
