This isn't a flame (spark?) against anyone in particular, but:

Will we're on the topic of FAQ's, do new subscribers to the list
automatically get mailed the FAQs (it's been a long time since
I've signed up)?  Call me a grumpy old fart, but I'm getting sort
of tired of the "does it work on <insert_machine_here>" questions.
