Hi All,

I am looking at buying a used Mac SE/30 (the current owner claims that
it has the "newest" processor - not sure what that means I am currently
a Intel/Linux user but hope to build a small network of 486, Mac, and
Amiga running Netbsd and Linux.

I have a couple of questions:

1. Which is the easiest way to add ethernet to the the SE/30? How much
does it cost? Is it supported by NetBSD/Mac?

2. Does NetBSD/Mac offer PPP?

3. Based on the limited info above, what processor, FPU upgrades do I
need to do to the SE/30 to get NetBSD/Mac running on it?

4. I understand the SE/30 only comes with a stock 40 MB SCSI internal
HD. Is this too small to set up a root/usr? Does the SE/30 and NetBSD support
external HD's to the point that I can take my Amiga 50 MB quantum SCSI disk
and use it as external SCSI disk so that I can maybe move my /usr to it
and and keep my root filesystem on the 40 MB?

Thanks for your insight..
