Tried it out.  Removing my Micron XCeed 128k cache card made no difference
at all.  With RAM set to 4 megs, everything's fine.  With RAM set to 8
megs, it hangs during multi-user boot at the "Automatic boot in progress:
starting file system checks" point.

Any other suggestions?
