It seemes funny that almost any organizations name (including apple, and
miscrosoft) could replace LPF and GNU in your statement.

Remember, just because everyone else is jumping off of a bridge it
doesn't justify you doing it.  It might make you feel better, before you
hit the ground, but it doesn't justify it.
