If we end the boycott, then whatever Apple users do, it won't place
pressure on Apple.  They might say, "Apple, please be nice," but they
will also say, "Whether Apple is nice or not, I'm going to buy from
Apple."  Apple management would hear the "I'm going to buy from
Apple," and would not care about the rest.

These Apple users might be able to help the cause in other ways, the
same ways that other people do; but there would be nothing special
about the fact that they are Apple users.
