 I would assume from the tone of your post, that you are not wrapt
in the throws of development. 

 If I am not mistaken in this respect, then my response would be to 
carefully delete (or better yet comment out!) all the lines you have listed, 
and leave it to others to figure out what the (probably accidentally) 
hardcoded device might refer to.

 I do not use savecore on any of my machines, as a fast boot sequence is 
of critical importance (on a commercial site). It is also irrelevant 
unless you feel like picking code apart.
