Here is the inside scoop on getting NetBSD to boot on the IIvx.
There are some requirements though.

Nubus video card
SLIP access
a seperate computer so that you can telnet to the IIvx
BETA-1 tar files
A text editor that handles lf/cr appropriatly eg. BBedit

IF YOU HAVE THE ABOVE MENTIONED, AND ARE INTERESTED IN GETTING
NETBSD TO RUN ON THE IIVX, PLEASE EMAIL ME, AND I WILL SEND THE
APPROPRIATE FILES. THIS METHOD WILL NOT WORK IF YOU DON'T HAVE
ANY ONE OF THE ABOVE!

Hear is a short walk through on how to do this.
1. Install BETA-1 tar files
2. Copy MY UPDATED Files to same folder as MacBSD Installer
3. Read the README file in the UPDATED files for specific modifications
wich must be done to work on your specific network!
4. Use the installer to cpin MY UPDATED FILES to /etc
	eg. cpin master.passwd master.passwd

5. Restart IIvx and hold shift key down
6. Start Booter1.1 and boot

***FSCK WILL MOST LIKELY INITIALLY FAIL. REPEAT STEP 6 UNTIL SUCCESS

8. You sould now see the login prompt after the kernel booted.
9. Now you can telnet to your mac from another computer
10. after login type su for super user
11. Now use vipw to edit your and roots passwords

Now you are on your own. GOOD LUCK
