I don't know for sure but MacBSD runs fine (well, mostly) on my
vanilla SE/30 (the case is an SE's, though 8-), and I seem to
remember I read something saying some Ether cards do harm.

Or, ... If your bin dist is Alpha2 or earlier, it might help to
upgrade to BETA-1.
