macbsd-general: Compiling the kernel

I attempted to compile the kernel... everything seemed to be going fine...
I left it running for quite a few hours and it seemed to be plugging along
until it attempted to compile libkern at which point it complained about
not know how to make bcmp.S... anyone have any suggestions?  Am I just
missing that file or do I have to generate it somehow?
