macbsd-general: More cross-development stuff

Pursuant to that last message about x-compiling, I configured gcc with
the following line:
./configure --prefix=$HOME/local --target=m68k-bsd4.3 \
  --target=sparc-sun4-sunos5.3
and I'm setting binutils to do all targets anyway.  Has anyone tried
this?
