It is my belief that the "newgroup"s for the macbsd groups never went
through. It's a good thing, too, because there just isn't enough traffic
to justify a real usenet newsgroup. In the future, I anticipate that
the NetBSD developers as a group will probably start "comp.os.netbsd.*,"
where "*" may be equivalent to the subgroups in "comp.os.386bsd"
and "comp.os.linux," except that there might also be "comp.os.netbsd.mac68k"
and "comp.os.netbsd.386" and so on, for general discussion of the
individual ports.

In any case, the traffic on macbsd-general is so low and the membership
so small that I wouldn't be able to send a newgroup message to a million
machines on usenet in good conscience. (Don't even talk to me about
alt.sex.bestiality.barney.fetish.parking-meters.) (Followups to
/dev/null, please.)

I think "make love, not war" is probably too extreme. I think the sentiment
might be better phrased, "make grudging tolerance, not war."
