Try this:

If you ever want to remove yourself from this mailing list, send the
following command in email to "Majordomo@sun-lamp.cs.berkeley.edu":

    unsubscribe macbsd-general ford@hermes1.sps.mot.com

If you keep sending mail to macbsd-general@sun-lamp.cs.berkeley.edu, you
won't get anywhere.
