I'm having problems uncompressing most of the MacBinaried files
in the MacBSD alpha/2 release (ftp'd from cray-ymp.vt).

For most of the files, I try to remove the MacBinary formatting
using either MacBinary II+ or StuffIt Lite, and I wind up with
an error -39 (an EOF, I believe) and a .cpt archive Compact Pro
won't recognize. The offending files are:

   for_testing/
      booter.1.0.cpt.bin
   tar_files/
      bin.tar.cpt.bin
      dev.tar.cpt.bin
      sbin.tar.cpt.bin
      usr.bin.tar.cpt.bin
      usr.libexec.tar.cpt.bin
      usr.sbin.tar.cpt.bin
      usr.share.tar.cpt.bin
   updates/
      update.010294.cpt.bin
      update.122193.cpt.bin

For some reason, the following files yielded healthy .cpt archives:

   tar_files/
      etc.tar.cpt.bin
      usr.include.tar.cpt.bin
      usr.lib.tar.cpt.bin
      var.tar.cpt.bin

Please help, if possible.
