I have finally managed to get my system running, after installing the
most recent version of the kernel.

Many thanks to the development team for their efforts and to all those
who responded to my posted questions. In parting I would like to throw
out a few more however:

1. Why am I missing the etc/termcap file. Is it missing or did I miss
 an archive somehow?

2. What are the primary fixes of the AlphaII release?

3. Does the current version support serial communications? How about
   SLIP?

Thanks again to all who made MacBSD a reality.
