Oops, duh, that's *7* bars then freeze for me.

I tried reformatting with APS, same problem with extra unused cylinders 
(which should be fine, just a little less space...)
(this is a 120MB Maxtor...)

And I've tried with different kernels (ie. non-FPU one, others with 
Software FPU installed...), same results...

The "docs" make no reference to A:
Unused/free partions and the A/UX autoback partition (or such...) and:
fsmking the swap partition.
I followed my gut (made no autoback partition, made teh unused, formatted 
the swap dir), but since I haven't gotten it to work... :-)
