I did at one time.  I haven't tried it in a long time, though...
A lot of stuff has changed since then, so I'm not too surprised
to hear that it's got problems :-(  I'll try to look at it when
I get back from turkey-day festivities.

I think that this is a holdover from hard disk partitioning.  I think
that only cd0a is valid, but some things might need cd0d.  Not sure,
though.  I'll look into it, too.
