Ugh.

A kernel with sizes (from the booter):
	485888+44036+267472+35172+34118 boots and runs OK...
A kernel with sizes:
	485892+44036+267472+35172+34118 fails with a bus error in ddb_init().

Erf.  The difference is one jbsr in locore--one that's not even being executed.
This doesn't appear to be anything close to a page boundary-type problem, but
I can't think of what else it might be.  *sigh*

It's the little things that make life more interesting...
