Some of the 68030 Macs that run NetBSD might be worth your time also,
particularly those combinations that work with the various accelerator
upgrade cards that are out there (50Mhz 68030 in a MacSE/30?). The
port-mac68k folks have it booting on 68040's ("Quadras"), but Apple has not
documented either the internal SCSI or the internal Ethernet, so they're a
ways from really working.
