This merge seems to break (at least) /usr/sbin/named functionality on
my i386 and mipsel machine (the process runs, but answers no
requests).

Just reverting your merge changes in src/lib/libpthread seems to 'fix'
the problem.

I don't if it's worth to send-pr.
