Using i386/4.99.24 (20070721)

Running envstat with the GENERIC kernel works

polaris# envstat
acpitz0 temperature:     50.000 degC

But if I compile my kernel with the lm(4) driver, then fails

polaris# envstat
<no output>

When I had 4.99.22 20070702 (compiled with lm driver), envstat
was working: the output was one acpitz temperature, three more
temperatures and some voltages

Which source changes affected this?
