/var/log/messages* only seems to have this:

Jul 17 02:59:01 fnord /netbsd: lfs_writeinode: looping count=3
Jul 17 03:33:32 fnord /netbsd: lfs_writeinode: looping count=3
Jul 17 03:33:32 fnord /netbsd: lfs_writeinode: looping count=4
Jul 17 03:33:32 fnord /netbsd: lfs_writeinode: looping count=5

But I see that fairly often, not consistently associated with crashes.
