Subject: dump_lfs issue

I ran dump_lfs -0u -f /dev/xbd0i /home/mail
trying to backup the /dev/xbd0i to /home/mail since recent current
panics whenever I mount that file system.
It seems like I instead dumped empty dir - /home/mail to /dev/xbd0i
Is that correct?
And is so, any idea if and how I could reverse this?
Running fsck_lfs /dev/xbd0i it says:
Superblock magic number (0x0) does not match expected 0x70162
Superblock magic number (0x1) does not match expected 0x70162
