Just for fun, run memtestplus, use 'c' to change the configuration,
select 5 for Error Report Mode, and 2 for BadRAM patterns.  This tells
memtest+ to generate patterns for a Linux kernel mod to do what we're
talking about -- see http://rick.vanrein.org/linux/badram/index.html
