Looking at the server, I see lots of DHCPDISCOVER and DHCPOFFERs
happening but it takes a while for the client to DHCPREQUEST. This is
-current as of a few hours ago (1/5 about 0500 GMT). Booting
"yesterday's" kernel doesn't have this problem.

Any hints on how to debug this?
