I have rtk0 (onboard ethernet, does not work--"watchdog timeout"
errors), ral0 (PCI linksys WMP54g v4.1), and ral1 (USB Linksys WUSB54G
v4).

rtk0 at pci2 dev 2 function 0: Realtek 8139 10/100BaseTX
rtk0: interrupting at irq 11
rtk0: Ethernet address 00:16:76:91:aa:d5
rlphy0 at rtk0 phy 7: Realtek internal PHY

ral0 at pci2 dev 3 function 0: Ralink Technologies RT2561S 802.11b/g (rev. 0x00)
ral0: interrupting at irq 10
ral0: 802.11 address 00:16:b6:9a:fc:08
ral0: MAC/BBP RT2661b, RF RT2527
ral0: 11b rates: 1Mbps 2Mbps 5.5Mbps 11Mbps
ral0: 11g rates: 1Mbps 2Mbps 5.5Mbps 11Mbps 6Mbps 9Mbps 12Mbps 18Mbps 24Mbps 36M
bps 48Mbps 54Mbps
ral1 at uhub2 port 7
ral1: Cisco-Linksys Wireless-G USB Network Adapter, rev 2.00/0.04, addr 2
ral1: MAC/BBP RT2570 (rev 0x05), RF RT2526
ral1: 11b rates: 1Mbps 2Mbps 5.5Mbps 11Mbps
ral1: 11g rates: 1Mbps 2Mbps 5.5Mbps 11Mbps 6Mbps 9Mbps 12Mbps 18Mbps 24Mbps 36M
bps 48Mbps 54Mbps

NOTE: I'd like to fix rtk0 as well, as this machine may be my gateway.
It works with GENERIC_LAPTOP on i386, but not on amd64--even with
ioapic disabled, ACPI enabled, ACPI_SCANPCI, and all of the *FIXUP
options.

IMHO, there should be an install kernel available for amd64 which
includes the following:

no options MPBIOS_SCANPCI
acpi0 at mainbus0
# To enable or disable ... ?
options ACPI_SCANPCI

# Maybe someday I can use the glorious hyperthreading
no options MPBIOS
no ioapic*

I would like to use ioapic someday, as then I could use
hyperthreading. However, if I enable it, my USB mouse does not work,
azalia0 output skips (sounds like IRQ conflict, brings back memories
of setting jumpers on my 8-bit soundblaster).

Sometimes I wish I still had to set jumpers for everything; at least
then it would all work!
