A new Hitachi 4G microdrive inserted in a PCMCIA slot with an PCMCIA adaptor
produces the following, on a 3.99.13 system:

cbb0: wait took too long 0.199988s
pccbb_pcmcia_wait_ready: ready never happened, status=5f
pcmcia0: card appears to have bogus CIS

The same adaptor works fine with an older IBM 1G microdrive:

cbb0: wait took too long 0.198992s
wdc0 at pcmcia0 function 0: <IBM, microdrive>
wdc0: i/o mapped mode
atabus2 at wdc0 channel 0
wd1 at atabus2 drive 0: <IBM-DSCM-11000>
wd1: drive supports 16-sector PIO transfers, LBA addressing
wd1: 1027 MB, 2088 cyl, 16 head, 63 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 2104704 sectors

The Hitachi microdrive works fine when used with a USB adaptor:

umass0 at uhub3 port 1 configuration 1 interface 0
umass0: Sony MSAC-USM1, rev 2.00/2.28, addr 2
umass0: using SCSI over Bulk-Only
scsibus0 at umass0: 2 targets, 3 luns per target
sd0 at scsibus0 target 0 lun 0: <Generic, STORAGE DEVICE, 0228> disk removable
sd0: fabricating a geometry
sd0: 3906 MB, 3906 cyl, 64 head, 32 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 7999488 sectors

Any ideas on getting the 4G drive to work in the PCMCIA slot much appreciated.

Thanks,
